It is a well known fact the textile industry is hazardous to our landfills. Textile waste, which comes from the manufacture of clothes and their eventual disposal into landfills, is one of the fastest growing waste streams in the world.

Despite global efforts to reduce, reuse, recycle and up-cycle – zero waste at this point is a fallacy.

So what can we do about  our linen clothes that are no longer wearable to help reduce landfill waste?

Don’t discard your old linen clothes – cut them up for cleaning cloths!

Linen cloth is an excellent material for cleaning. They are an eco-friendly, long lasting way to clean your car, home or wash your dishes. Being highly absorbent and machine washable, they will last much longer than either a sponge or blue cloth.  Moreover, they contain no plastics.

Both stronger and more absorbent than cotton, plus being lint-free, makes for a superb drying and polishing cloth for all kinds of smooth surfaces. No unwanted fluff residue left behind!

The possibilities are endless, your cloths should last for many years and you will have contributed to reducing textile waste!
